3rd Shot Pickleball – Wheat Ridge Pickleball Court Reviews
★★★★☆
(201 reviews)
I NEVER write negative reviews but wanted to share for others looking to get into pickleball. On the website the Saturday night open play from 8-10pm says it’s beginner friendly with entire courts dedicated to beginners. This is NOT the case at all. We showed up and there wasn’t even any beginner courts offered to play on, only intermediate and advanced. Left a hour before the block was over because no one wanted to play “down to our level” anymore.
Hosted a surprise birthday party here for 15 people and it was fabulous! The 3rd shot staff was awesome and super helpful, the event room space was perfect and spacious for our group. 10/10 would recommend for hosting a large group event here!
3rd shot in Wheat Ridge is truly amazing! I work at CCU, a smaller university just south in Lakewood, in our Intramurals department. Our pickleball club has previously partnered with 3rd Shot and recommended them to our Intramurals department. Everything they said was met & exceeded (AND SOME!) The staff - incredible! the facility - incredible! the atmosphere - incredible! shoutout to Max as well! He dealt with our changes and helped when we were a little indecisive on how many courts and for how long! I HIGHLY recommend 3rd shot! I could go on and on about how caring their staff members were and it truly elevated our Pickleball Tournament experience! We will definitely be back!
My business partner and I rented out the entire facility (all 13 courts) at 3rd Shot three years in a row for our annual pickleball event and it has been incredible every time!! Such a high end facility, amazing energy, and their team is so easy to work with. If you’re thinking about hosting a private party here, definitely do it!!
Great place for people of all skill levels to play pickleball! One of the owners, Max, is a real cool guy and he helped set up my paddle with tape and weights. Would recommend you check this place out, especially during their night owl specials.
