Al Kruse Tennis & Pickleball — Corpus Christi, TX

Reserved a 1 hour slot to play Pickleball. We played for 45 minutes then front employee said our time was up because next group had arrived. We were not informed when we reserved or walked in that we would be kicked off court early because next group arrived. Needless to say, we were embarrassed by her action. Rather than cause a scene, we gathered our belongings and left. I wonder if this is normal business practice at Al Kruse Tennis & Pickleball Center?

Nice place to meet new people and get some playing time. The staff is very friendly, and the courts are kept clean and in good condition. Also has a nice view of some of the nearby/downtown buildings.

I have only been to Al Kruse for my son’s tennis tournaments. It’s not the best location and the facility is pretty run down. During really busy tournaments the parking lot cannot handle the large groups. The courts are kept in pretty good shape and the staff is always extremely helpful and friendly which makes up for the poorly outdated facility.

We recently hosted a pickleball tournament for an awareness event for Anti-Human Trafficking, and Al Kruse’s service was through the roof. We had the absolute best experience, and the manager Ronald, even donated the courts toward our non profit cause. They were amazing, and truly so helpful toward donating back to the community. Any one who is looking for a fun weekend activity, or a tournament, we 1000% recommend Al kruse! Thank you to the staff and the amazing facility!

Very nice facility with a very friendly staff. I came here with another combat disabled veteran and my wife; we are are first time pickleball players. Coaches Jen and Billie provided an excellent training session. They explained the game inside and out, and took the time to address some compensation techniques for our various injuries. My wife and I drove up from the RGV for this session and we're glad we did. Next time we're in town, we'll definitely stop by.
