CityPickle at Wollman Rink is an awesome summer setup in the heart of Central Park. There are plenty of courts and lots of lounge space, so it never feels cramped. Everything is extremely well maintained and thoughtfully organized. Such a fun and unique way to experience pickleball in NYC. Highly recommend!

I have so enjoyed both playing at City Pickle this summer, and their clinics.Very excited for the Time Square indoor City Pickle to open this falL! At my most recent clinic, the coach gave us very specific education on why the 2 bounce rule exists in how to take advantage of it specific coaching. Great positive reinforcement while helping me play better immediately. And I have this great morning walk to get there! What could be better!

I know I'm showing three stars but it's not that it's bad, it's that it's an experience. Not so much a regular place. I played in the evening and the lighting was pretty harsh. There's really no dividers between cords, So you're chasing balls or dodging balls that come from other courts. Then that tension wasn't correct on the courts I was playing on. They do offer a lot of new balls so that's cool to play with. The staff is nice. It's expensive. But it is a unique experience.

Wollman Rink is converted in the summer to a pickleball court! This is great, staff is fun and coach well, although you do have to watch when it rains, it gets very slick on the court, so end up inside a tent or the building playing table tennis... we had to wait for it to dry out (cutting down on playing time). Wind is also a challenge .... definitely blew the balls around. This is closed as they convert to ice skating for the winter months, so only open in the spring/summer/fall. Watch the entrance, it's a steeper path down to the bottom. A viewing area above.

I recently attended an intermediate tennis clinic at Wollman Rink and had a fantastic experience. The coach was not only knowledgeable but also highly adaptable, tailoring the session to the skill levels of the participants. I especially appreciated the personalized feedback that helped me refine my serve technique. The atmosphere was fun and the other participants worked well together—I’m looking forward to the next one!
