This review is going to sound so fangirl of me BUT I can’t even say it’s a hidden gem because loads of people cycle through here and it’s well known, I was just late to it. The best way I can describe is that it felt like a lifestyle club or if I dormed and this was the area to chill. They have so many amazing amenities, the workers are absolutely sweet and amazing. The blocked off spaces are amazing, literally so so many areas to just chill, hangout, study. They also have breakfast and lunch options like sandwiches and stuff as well as baked goods and matcha and if you just wanna take a break and go sweat they have that too. They have low toilet options which is actually so amazing for people with kids. I don’t even care for tomato soup but the staff suggested it and it was so yummy. The place was so vibey and definitely deserves the traction it gets, if not more. Def plan on coming in more regularly. They even have cute merch and more seating in the front after you enter which I didn’t get a picture of but super super cute and amazing place to hangout all day, socialize, have some fun etc. Need more wholistic spaces like this throughout the city ngl

I was really disappointed with the food at Local Good Coffee. I ordered the caprese panini with tomato bisque, and honestly, it didn’t live up to expectations at all. The “panini” wasn’t a panini—it was just toasted sourdough, which felt misleading. The tomato soup tasted like it came straight out of a can. If you’re going to sell something, be upfront about what it actually is. It just wasn’t worth the money. The coffee was okay, but nothing special. You’re better off going to Lemma Coffee if you’re looking for a better coffee experience. The atmosphere also felt more like a retail space than a welcoming café. We felt rushed to order, and even after mentioning it was our first time, the cashier didn’t offer any suggestions or guidance. Overall, not a place I’d return to.

I found Local Good Coffee through a Plano Moms post and I’m glad I did. The coffee is excellent and the space is huge, very diverse clientele and the staff is super welcoming. There is a gated playground, pickleball, basketball, sand volleyball, shaded picnic tables, a large covered patio, and a modern indoor area with couches, tables, a quiet room, kids corner, and great A/C for Texas summers. It feels both upscale and relaxed. Drinks are priced the same or less than big chains but the experience is on another level and some do the proceeds are for good cause locally. We tried the cheese pizza and the kid ate every bite. The crust was soft, fluffy, and a little chewy. We only planned to stop for a coffee before lunch but ended up staying for hours.

I absolutely love Local Good Coffee Co.. More than just a coffee shop, it feels like a true community space where everyone is welcome. I really appreciate what ChaseOaks church is doing by providing this beautiful place and creating an atmosphere that brings people together. I love that the coffee shop is volunteer-run, giving young people an opportunity to gain experience while serving the community. The environment is warm, peaceful, and inviting. They even have a fun area for little kids to play and a quiet room for people who want to relax, study, work, or pray quietly. The whole place feels intentional, not rushed or transactional. You can tell they care about creating connection, kindness, and a sense of belonging. Great coffee, great ambience, friendly people, and a beautiful mission behind it all. Every town needs more places like this.

This place is AWESOME! The food was delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere was exceptional. I got to enjoy my coffee/breakfast while my kid played in the kids corner. Then we went outside and enjoyed the amenities. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
