Picklr needs some fine tuning in their gameplay policies and bookings. I signed up for a month to get a feel for their indoor game. I’ve enjoyed the play. The facility is great for winter indoor play although loud acoustics could be dimmed down some. The open play is a chaotic experience with players trying to decide who’s next up. Paddle stacking is vertical (indoor image) vs horizontal (outdoor image) creating a high traffic point when trying to grab your paddle. Also open play requires booking on their online App. Which you can never get a place to play because you are able to book 2 weeks in advance even if you don’t show. Once courts are full you are SOL. Also you need a ranking to play/book on certain courts. Broken business processes creating an undesirable experience overall. If they fix this I’ll be back but until then I’ll be discontinuing my membership for the foreseeable future.

This is the place to be!! I love the staff, and they love their players. They know you by name, and they are so friendly. I appreciate all of the programs they run … open play, free leagues, tournaments for all levels, and court reservations. Players can only get better because of the free clinics (lessons). And, if you are looking to improve even faster, you can pay for private or group lessons with the coach of your choice. I love the GroupMe accounts they set up for different-level players so that you can always find a player or two for your court. The only downside is that you get super-spoiled playing here. When I have to play elsewhere, it's just not as fun. Nobody has the court set-ups the way Picklr does, so we're always chasing balls or having our game interrupted by another court's ball. This is a fantastic place to play. We consider it our home away from home.

The wife and I really enjoy the Picklr. the staff are all great these days and the courts are in fantastic shape. We have been members for about 6mo now and have met many new folks to play with. Highly recommend giving couch Jeremy a shot. We have enjoyed many sessions with him and will be back for more.

Absolutely great experience at Picklr McKinney! The facility is clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere whether you’re new to pickleball or play competitively. The courts are in excellent shape, and the staff is friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Open play is well organized, and it’s easy to jump in and meet other players. This location really does a great job building a fun and positive pickleball community. Highly recommend to anyone looking to play in the McKinney area!

I visited The Picklr in McKinney, TX on Saturday, April 26 around 4 PM, and I wanted to take the time to highlight the outstanding service I received. Earlier that day, around 2:47 PM Central Time, I called to ask some questions and spoke with a male representative who was unfortunately very short and unhelpful. I’m not sure if it was an answering service or someone working at the facility, but the call stated it was being recorded for quality and training purposes — so I hope this feedback helps with any internal reviews. Despite that rocky start, my in-person experience was night and day better. When I arrived, the young woman working the front desk turned the entire visit around. She was extremely polite, helpful, and informative. It seemed like she was the only employee on-site at the time, yet she still went above and beyond to assist us, taking the time to answer every question and even explaining membership options (which, in my experience visiting other facilities over the past six months, rarely happens). Most places just go through the motions, but she made a real, positive impression — not just for us as customers, but as a representative of The Picklr. I unfortunately didn’t catch her name, but I really hope she receives the recognition she deserves. Thanks to her, I’m genuinely looking forward to coming back. I wanted to make sure this review highlighted her amazing service.
